The RV-TIFAC Composite Design Centre is setting up
a FRP/ Composite Design Centre in its premises on a permanent basis
as a facility and service to the industry to exhibit newer and novel FRP/
Composite products for the benefit of the manufacturers and the end-users
of such products. The Display centre will also exhibit the products designed
and developed by the RV-TIFAC CDC.
The underlying idea behind this proposal is to bring
together under one roof selected products for the general public view,
especially for the view of composite scientists, engineers, moulders, entrepreneurs,
and users in various organizations to promote wider awareness and facilitate
increasing use of such products. This is the first time that such
a permanent FRP/ Composite products Display Centre is being set up in the
country.
ADVANTAGES
OF DISPLAY CENTRE 
 Greater awareness
among the user communities about the various FRP/ Composite products being
manufactured and used in the country.
Better exposure
to the products on the display due to the large and continuous stream of
visitors from within the country and abroad as well as participaants in
the various seminars, workshops, HRD, and training programmes etc., held
in the centre from time to time. Assistance of CDC for showcasing the products
in national and international exhibitions for still greater publicity.
An opportunity
for the product manufacturers - both indigenous and foreign - to evaluate
and compare the products on display with each other in terms of their materials
content, design features, tooling finishing etc., leading to better quality
improvement and production techniques.
Use of the
facilities and technical assistance of CDC to improve the quality in design,
tooling and production of the products on display for new products products
under development, if required.

A large Display/
Exhibition Hall of about 2,000 sft. of space, 2,500 sft. of open space
equipped with attractively designed cubicles and display stands made out
of composites.
Space for
displaying literature and photographs of the products on display.
Services
of CDC engineer to explain the salient features of the products to the
visitors.
Computerised
product information and enquiry services.
Computerised
database of FRP/ Composite product manufacturers and company profiles.
Manufacturers/ suppliers of FRP/ Composite products
who wish to display their products in CDC may fill in the Product Display

SERVICE
CHARGES
There will be service charge payable for exhibiting
the products in the CDC Display Centre during the first three months. However,
the facility would continue to be made available beyond this period to
those organisations who enlist themselves as an institutional member of
CDC, free of charge, as one of the membership privalages. For more details
